Hi, different subject but can anyone out there tell me how to fix a DV tape, the tape is broken, is there anyway I can join the ends together.
Just hoping to find someone that knows how. Thanks.

hi bigger..you need to get some splicingtape..is very easily available...would suggest maplins stores..they will even just maybe have a splicing kit ..i would be suprised if they dont..and it would only be a few pounds..the way tosplice tape is to cut oposing angles in each end of the tape and lay both ends on top of the tape...a little fiddlyto startso would maybe suggest practic on an old vhs tape..a sort of carpenters chamferd type joint is what you need to achive...you may evenfind n of the staff at maplins will do it for you..i have been using them for years and always find them very helpfull and thy have gotmeut of trouble many times...goo uck...failing maplins..then another suggestion is pc advisor web site..post your prob inone of there forums someone is bound to be able to help you..claire..
