All the videos I've uploaded before let me to opt out of allowing them to be linked to other sites. This wasn't an option this time and now anyone can link my video to their site. Your own information says linking is an option for uploaders. Can you please tell me why this has changed and can you remove the link option from my latest upload. If not I'll prevent linking by removing my videos, as I suspect will many others.

You're talking about the embed option?
This is now a default option, in the same way that all videos now have the Yuvutu Watermark.

Thanks for the reply but it still doesn't answer my question. Also how can a default option have no option? Why can't we have the choice, they are our videos after all.

The "linking to other sites" is a feature that in the current days doesn't make sense anymore because everyone can come and take your videos using simple software, and that was happening a lot since we found a big number of Yuvutu videos on Xvideos and xtube, for example.

What this function does is basically allow the ones that want to show your video on other site by embedding the video, keeping a link for the site, for example:

http://mytvporno.com/2013/11/28/girlfriend-fucking-friend/

We can put this back if you feel that is an important feature, however and unfortunately the video steeling is something we can't fight and it's a better idea (in our opinion) to allow it properly than making it hard and then see it appearing elsewhere.

Thanks for the quick reply however there is an illogicality in your reasoning. People steal videos from here and post them elsewhere, I know. I also know this is wrong as the member hasn't given permission to allow this to happen and they probably don't want their videos posted all over the internet. You are saying as this happens anyway, we are going to make it easier! This just makes no sense at all. If people use software to rip off my videos without my permission then so be it but please let the default position be [b]opting in[/b] to linking to other sites. I know from a marketing Yuvutu perspective. it's not so good but I've only given my permission for my videos to be shown here. It seem to me to be a matter of principle and respecting the expectations of your members rather than giving permission to scattering their videos across the web.

We understand your point and we've re-activated that option in the upload form, now you can once again disallow linking to your videos.
