I am new to the Chat Rooms and need an explanation of Private Messages and Whisper.

If I want to send someone a private message, do I have to go the their Profile and send a PM? Can I do this from the Chat Dialog box?

If I send a Whisper to someone, it shows up on my screen...do all posters see it, or just the recipient and me?

A PM goes to the users profile just like a e-mail and no you can not send them from chat, click the Private message tab at top of page and send like a normal e-mail . The whispers can only be seen by you and the person you sent it to BUT!!!!! make sure the lil whisper box is check because if not the person your sending it to and everyone else in the room will see it .......... thus when whispers go bad lol.
