If someone asks to go "private', how do you do that?

Not everyone has the ability to do private chat. click on someones name in the chat room users list and if there is a lil green cross at the top of the options listing that says " private chat" you can click that and it will start a private chat. Just make sure if you have this option that you ask permission from the person first, some tend to get pissed off with uninvited private chat or whisper request.

I clicked on several users in the chatroom but never got the "private chat" green cross. Do I have to do anything in particular to get the ability? Is it a paid subscriber-only function?

I have done the same, can someone answer this question please aS I have wanted to as the other person has but neither of us knew how, how do you get this.

you have to click on there name in the room ....

make them a friend on the small list
top right the names list right click the top the middle row
its your frinds on line list
select the name ... double click it
then you should get a box

You say top right for names list, still cannot work this one out, can anyone help further

top the names list are 3 sets numbers ..
1st ..... number peeps in the room
2nd .... is your friends list
3rd .... is the rooms

you need the second list.. click the numbers then your friends names will be there

double click there name in that colum

a good information for the trolls to be honnest .. Fortunately in french room, mods do not tell men how to private the women, because trolls never ask permission.. but whatever.
